Amberley Museum & Heritage Centre, situated in Amberley near Arundel and the South Downs, is an open-air industrial heritage museum which is dedicated to preserving the industrial heritage of the South East. Set in 36 acres, there is lots to explore with over 40 exhibits to see. The Milne Electricity Collection houses domestic appliances from days gone by. A great place for Grandparents to show their grandchildren how it was in their day.
Also located in the South Downs near the village of Singleton, The Weald and Downland Open Air Museum, is a living museum set in some 40 acres with over 50 historic buildings dating from 950AD to the 19th century. There are also gardens, farm animals, lovely walks, mill pond, working flour mill and large café.
