Like most coastal areas, Bognor Regis has plenty of sea birds to watch including common Gulls. For a more varied selection of birds, Pagham Harbour Nature reserve, is one of the best places locally to see a large selection of birds including, Black-tailed Godwits, Brent Geese, Little Egrets, Little Turns and Pintails.
The Arundel Wetland Centre covers some 60 acres, and is managed by the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust. At the centre, one can observe birds within purpose built hides. There are a number of flat paths throughout the centre and a café on-site.
Out in the countryside there are of course many other species of birds to see.
