Climate Change Bognor Regis

Climate Change Bognor Regis

In 2019, West Sussex County, Arun District, and Bognor Town Councils all declared a Climate Emergency.

Bognor Regis Town Council then invited Councillors and members of the public to form a Climate Emergency Focus Group to help address the issues we are all facing.

Three meetings took place, a Facebook page created, and a Climate Change leaflet designed before the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic which has hampered progress.

Several group emails have been sent giving references to various topics but there was nowhere where to keep the information. As a result this section has been created to act as a reference library where members of the Topic Team can submit all types of climate change information which can then be accessed by anyone at any time. As time goes by, and as it becomes available, more information will be added in an attempt to keep the public informed of the effects that Climate Change is having on Bognor Regis and the surrounding area.
