Cycling in the South Downs
Cycling on the Beach

Travel along the promenade, explore the villages, or explore the South Downs. Whatever your preference, as there are no hills, Bognor Regis is great for cycling. Exploring the villages of Felpham, Middleton-On-Sea or Pagham is a great way to find out more about the area.

Cycle Paths

There are two main tarmac cycle paths that join Bognor Regis and Littlehampton to the East and Chichester to the West. Both these routes are adjacent to the A259.

Cycling Clubs

The Bognor Regis Cycling Club has a well established reputation for being a friendly local cycling club that have regular meetings.

South Downs Cycle Routes

The South Downs National Park has something for every kind of cyclist to enjoy and explore. The South Downs Way is just one example, but with 1,200 km of bridleways to explore, the South Downs National Park has some of the best views around.
